I don’t have a fancy-schmancy privacy policy (yet), so here is what I promise you:
There are only a couple of ways I collect information about you. One is when you sign up for my Weekly Newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time by simply sending me an e-mail requesting to be removed. Another is if you send in a tip or recipe. In this case, you are not signing up for anything, so there is nothing to unsubscribe from. If you register for the forum, or sign up to post comments on my blog, same deal…Nothing to unsubscribe from. If you add your business to the small business directory, I will need your e-mail address to correspond with you about your ad. I HATE Spammers, and do not conduct my business that way. I will NEVER sell, rent, or otherwise distribute your e-mail address to anyone for any reason. There would be only a few instances that I would contact you via e-mail. 1.) You asked me a question…I would answer it. 2.) You signed up for my Weekly Newsletter. I will send you one every Friday until you tell me to stop. 3.) You sent me a tip, idea or recipe. I would e-mail you and ask permission to post it on the site. 4.) You added your business to the small business directory. I would send you an e-mail with payment instructions. There would also be a couple of automatically generated e-mails when you sign up or change your ad, etc.
You will notice that I have a lot of links on my site. I try to check out each and every link in an effort to keep my guests away from icky websites. I use McAfee SiteAdvisor as my tool for checking each website’s reputation. If I don’t think it’s a good site, I won’t link to it. It’s just the way I am. Once you click on a link, (even though I have checked it out) I suggest you read that site’s policies before doing business with them. This is a practice that should ALWAYS be used online. Some of the sites I link to DO sponsor my efforts by way of commission, (Believe me It’s not much), but I do appreciate it when you patronize my sponsors. However, each site has it’s own policies and are otherwise not affiliated with TriCitiesPennyPincher.com OR PennyPincherWeekly.com. Everything on this site is completely free of charge and I work for free. Help support the site by visiting often and spreading the word…I sure would appreciate it!
